Beyond the Image Photographers GalleryAbout Mendlesham Camera Club
The club meets on the first Tuesday of the month at (07:30 p.m. in the Old School Room, Market Street, Mendlesham). The club has a varied itinery throughout the year guaranteed to inspire photographers of any level and experience.
The club meetings are informal with each member displaying their photographs based on a monthly theme, followed by a short tuition session led by one of the members. The subjects chosen for the tuition are usually decided by the group, typicaly arising out of questions raised during meetings.
All levels of photographers are welcome to join, from the absolute beginner to the expert. Help and guidance is always available to develop your technique and improve your photographs.

Meetings start at 19:30 in the Old School Room, Market Street, Mendlesham.
- 6th Feb 24 - Images from the December Table Top Exercise or Rainy Day Pics
- 5th Mar 24 - Cup and Saucer (Coffee and biscuits perhaps)
- 5th Mar 24 - Light Trails exercise
- 2nd Apr 24 - Images from light trail exercise
- 7th May 24 - A woodland path

Meeting Format - Part 1
Meetings will start at 19:30 in the Old School Room with time to chat for about 10 mins or so. The meeting is not expected to run much longer than an hour and half, however, there is no restriction on time.The photo challenge images from the dropbox or other media will be displayed using the OSR projector and screen. The image owner can describe their image if they want to, there is no pressure to do so. There is no critique offered, however if you wish to ask a question regarding your image then we will answer to the best of our ability.
Meeting Format - Part 2
During part 2 a club member or guest speaker may well give a short presentation on a photographic related subject. Some of the topics covered will have been requested or suggested by club members. On lighter evenings (with good weather) a local photo challenge around the village will be set.
Meeting Format Part 3
A question and answer session amongst the meeting participants. A chance for you to ask or discuss photography.
